4. stage in Russia: from Murmansk to Vladivostok

The last stage billed as the ultimate challenge for man and machine. The three-man crews, each including one woman, have to travel 16,000 kms in a 4x4 vehicle in 14 days from Murmansk, within the Arctic circle, to Vladivostok, on the Pacific Ocean. It takes place at the tail end of Russia's winter, when temperatures along the route are expected to drop to minus 40 Celsius. The winning 3-man team will share a prize of 10 kgs of pure gold!
